This position will provide primary clinical management and coordination of care for all lung transplant patients. The incumbent will manage program resources, define quality improvement initiatives, and provide continuum of care to this patient population. This position reports to the Supervisor of Organ Transplant, with clinical supervision by relevant physicians in the Divisions of Pulmonary Medicine and Cardiothoracic Surgery.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
RN license, BS degree preferred; 3-5 years experience in nursing field.
Hands on patient experience in an intensive care setting; experience relevant to pulmonary subspecialties preferred
High degree of organizational skills and excellent communication skills; ability to work independently and take programmatic initiative.
Knowledge of data systems, outcomes data and other clinical performance data.
