The candidate must have at least 2 or more years of relevant network administration experience preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting. A Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related technology field preferred or acquired through a combination of education and experience.
The candidate must have outstanding knowledge and skills in network technologies including switching, routing, wireless, VPNs, cabling, WANs, and multiple protocols; Outstanding knowledge and skills in Cisco products; Working knowledge of multiple server operating systems including Windows and UNIX; Experience using HP Open View and Cisco Works. Advanced computer skills utilizing MS Office , MS Exchange/Outlook and project management tools.
This position is responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of the network infrastucture for Froedtert & Community Health's Information Systems. This infrastructure primarily includes network switches, routers, firewalls, cabling plant, and wireless solutions.This position will also assist the Applications Team in the installation and support of major business applications supporting the hospitals' end-user departments. Will work closely with Team Leaders and Managers to ensure that the network infrastructure delivers at a service level consistent with organizational risk, information access requiremtns, and business strategies.
