Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech) performs routine service duties and basic nursing procedures necessary to provide for care, comfort, and safety of patients in the Emergency and Trauma Center. State of WI EMT License or State of WI Nursing Assistant Certification. Nursing students seeking to become an ED Tech must be at the junior level or higher and have completed 2 clinical rotations. Ability to read, write and perform math calculations. Strong interpersonal skills. Approximately 2 years on-the-job experience required.
